Today Im taking a look at the WP Dollar plug in by Martin Crumlish

The basic concept of this WordPress plug in is that you can add it to any existing site, specify keywords and it will automatically pull in Amazon affiliate products and content for your site. Which if purchased by your site visitors will earn you an affiliate commission.

After getting my review access I was taken to a log in area where I was able to download the plug in. Also inside of the members area was there is a training section that has 5 very detailed and easy to follow tutorial videos as well as a help desk where you can send support tickets if you have any questions.

The plug in itself is very easy to use. The interface is clean cut and crisp. While there are a lot of options its not cluttered or overwhelming. Each setting has a mouse over tool tip help button that will give you a description of what that option is for. This is a nice feature that I was really glad to see implemented.

I did notice that there is no in WordPress help section. I would have really liked to see the tutorial videos be inside of the plugin itself so that way if you need look over something you dont have to go and log back into the members area to get to the video. However this is a very minor thing and I may just be being a picky on this as the mouse over tool tips do a good job of explaining what the options are for and what is expected.

After playing around with this plugin for a bit I really started to get an understanding for the power of this plugin. Because it is a plug in and not a theme you can use it on any WordPress site, even your existing one. You can use it in conjunction with any theme you have so that your site does not just look like every other one.  Also this plug in gives you so many different ways to pull in content. But what I really like about this most is that it pulls the products and the content automatically based on the keywords your enter.  That, to me, is one of its best features. Just tell the plugin what product keywords I want, tell it what kind of content I want (text, review style, widgets etc) and enter my settings and it does all the work for me. Nice.

If you are now or are interested in becoming an Amazon affiliate that I would suggest that you strongly consider the WPDollar 2.0 WordPress plugin in. Its a winner in my book (and that’s something I dont say lightly)

However I make no promises to them regarding the results of my tests or what I will write in my review. Should you click a link that takes you to a sales page for a paid product for sale this link will be an affiliate link and I will be paid a percentage of the sales price should you decide to invest in it.
