Today Im doing a review of Page Profits Formula by Sam Mann

So what exactly is Page Profits Formula. Well its a new training product that is suppose to teach anyone how to make money online by providing Facebook fan page cover creation services to offline clients. The basic idea is that you use the provided techniques to search for business’s that have fan pages and then you contact then (scripts provided) and offer to create great looking fan pages cover images for them.

The sales page has some really big promises in it such as stating that you will only ever have to work 1 hour max. It also says that you can make over $130 a day using this method.

I reviewed the training and thought the video quality was acceptable and the information that was provided not bad. Ill be honest, I almost liked this product but I ran into some real stumbling blocks when I interviewed Sam on Facebook chat and started probing him about his results. There where two major problems I found.

The first is that Sam does not do this himself. What happened is he came up with this concept as a way to make money. He tested it for a very short time. Made a grand total of 4 sales and then decided its a viable way to make money and created a training product.

Now it may be just me, but if Im going to get training from someone on how to do something I want it to be something that they do on a regular basis, not something that the did less than a handful of times. How can anyone say that this is a viable way to make long term money when the person who invented it does not even ‘do it’?

Think about it. If I told you that I made 4 sales as an affiliate would you want to buy a ‘how to make money as an affiliate’ training program from me? If I told you I sold 4 copies of my own products would you want to buy a ‘how to launch a product’ training program from me? Probably not. So why would anyone want to buy a make money method from a guy who has only done it himself for a very short time, only made a few sales, and has no intent on continuing to do it long term?

So your probably wondering where Im getting that 4 sales from. This actually leads to the second problem with this. Sam actually told me that’s how many sales he got. In fact what he actually said was that he contacted about 100 people and got 4 sales using his ‘method’.

Besides telling us  that he only has ever done 4 sales and now somehow feels that this is a viable and proven enough method to start teaching other people how he did it we can get some other information from this statement. First of all we know that his method has a 96% failure rate. Now this is not bad for ‘cold calling’, which is what this basically is (though it uses the internet and not the phone) it does let us know that your not going to make $130 a day working 60 minutes max. If your lucky you might get 1 sale a day while going through hundreds of leads  that reject you. Again this is assuming that this will work long term anyway. Which we cant know since no one ever bothered to do this long term (including the the guy training you).

While in the surface this may seem like a good investment I personally feel that someone who is going to train someone to do something has some obligations to the people he is training. First I feel that the training subject should be something that the trainer has done long term and knows inside out. Second I feel that the if the training subject is about making money then it should be a time tested and proven way to earn an income.

This is neither of those things. Its a sketchy ‘get rich quick’ program, that has not been tested as a long term business model and that is being thought by a guy who only ever did it a few times and who has no intent on continuing to do it himself. For this one I’m going to have to suggest that there is just not enough credibility to make it a solid investment.

A quick note about the reviews I do on this site. The product vendors give me access to their products for free in order for me to do my review. However I make no promises to them regarding the results of my tests or what I will write in my review. Should you click a link that takes you to a sales page for a paid product for sale this link will be an affiliate link and I will be paid a percentage of the sales price should you decide to invest in it.

Wow once again money saved, i saw the JV invite for this last week, and sounded good but numbers did not add up to me either, now I find out OP has only made 4 sales then rolls out his product for JV’s to promote and take advantage of people trying to make income online,

I am sooo glad to pass on this one for myself and my list..

Thanks again Brett, you are a breath of fresh air in a tough often misleading industry.

Incredibly enought… we tend to think… bah… its not much money one’s investing. But that is so wrong… cause the time wrongly invested is much more worth tham 7 bucks.
Thanks Brett for wide opening my eyes.

    Brett,
You would think that this guy would be a little embarrassed to give
you his sales history information. At least he was, apparently,
    honest with you.
    Thanks for the review.

Well, at least he was honest. That probably cost him a fortune in product sales, so perhaps he will also have learned something. Never profess to be an expert unless you really are!

    Hi Brett
I wanted to thank you for your warts & all honesty about this opportunity and all your reviews. I have been inundated with promo emails for this product by many IMer’s who like to profess their expertise and ability to spot a good technique / opportunity that I must buy before its gone! You are one of a very rare breed that digs behind the glossy marketing speel to give a balanced & very fair review. This is the second time in three weeks you have saved me wasted time and resources so thanks again.
    Cheers from UK
    Simon

Oh Sh$t, I just bought this!
The register page has a place for your email only and a submit button. When you submit it says “You need to fill in your name”, there is no place for your name. Haven’t they tested this?
I was feeling kinda weird buying this one, sounded too good to be true. Maybe the old saying is right. I feel bad about getting a refund, thousand or so spent so far and only refunded one product.
I’ll read through it, maybe I can change something and make it better.

Refreshingly honest review. Don’t suppose you’ll be making yourself too popular with ‘failed’ product sellers but at least it looks like us buyers have someone that can be trusted to give an honest opinion. Thanks

thank f*ck I saw this post.

not too worried about almost losing 5 bucks but
the time i would have spend on this “method”
would have been MUCH more than 5 bucks.

maybe i should start rehashing cheap plr products
and make great sales page and start hammering
the fools that still believe in the “magic button”
