VidPro is a unique product in the IM space in that its not one with a lot of hype or crazy claims. At its core its not a make money product really. Instead is a tool, an asset, that is intended to make your life more easy.
So how does it do that exactly? Well for starters, in case you are not aware. One way to make videos is to use PowerPoint. With PowerPoint you can make individual slides for your presentation video, then use a screen recorder (I personally use ScreenCast-O-Matic) to recorder your presentation as you speak. This is a low cost and easy way to make videos for those on a budget or not technically inclined. In fact I wrote a training article that explains how to do this a while back.
The problem with this is that the videos are only going to look as good as your presentation. If your not graphically inclined enough to make a great looking presentation your video is not going to look very professional. This is where VidPro comes in. With VidPro you get 7 premade PowerPoint presentation templates that you can edit to your needs and use for your videos.
Each templates comes with 2 different variations (light and dark) and also with 2 different aspect ratios (4.3 and wide screen 16.9)
I found them to be crisp, clean, business like, and definitely professional quality. Each one has several slides and you can edit the slides to suite your needs or delete any slides all together that you don’t want to use.
The only thing that I did not particularly care for is the license that comes with them, you only get ‘for your own use’ in the front end license. This means that you cant use these templates to make videos that you sell to other people. If you want to make videos to sell for clients, then you will need to take advantage of their up sell offer, which comes with 7 additional templates and ‘developers’ license to all 14 of them.
While I kind of wish that the license to sell the videos created with these templates where included on the front end, given that they are charging a very low price for them, and including a couple of great bonuses, I can to some degree understand that they almost have to charge extra for the extended license.
Something I was really glad to see is that they not only include the templates, they also include video tutorials that explain how to edit and use the templates.
This is going to be a great asset for anyone who wants to make these kinds of presentation videos but does not yet know how to.
Honestly this product might not be for everyone. Its not a general product for marketers. Its going to be best suited for someone who makes presentation style videos, be it for your own sales pages, for reviews, for demos, of for any kind of business presentation. If you don’t do any of this at all (or don’t want to), then you might not need this.
However if your making these kinds of screen recording / presentation style videos (or if you want to start making them) then VidPro is going to be a low cost investment that is likely to save you a lot of time and effort, while also ensuring that your videos look great as well.
