Video Review Summery:
A lot of IM products are ones that are big on promises but low on delivery. They rely on making an emotional connection with potential customers and enticing them with the idea of getting rich at the push of a button. Ankur in my experience is not a seller who makes that kind of product. What Ankur does is build solutions for actual problems that people running serous online business’s have.
PayDrill is no different. If your running any kind of online business, be it IM, CPA, E-Com, or anything really, you are likely going to be using PayPal for at least one of your payment processors if not your only (or most important one). However PayPal has some serous flaws in its reporting.
Even doing a simple transaction search in PayPal can be a pain and advanced analytic are almost non existent. With PayPal you cant know the average customer value. If your retaining your customers. If your attracting new customers. Where you customers are coming from. When they are buying. How much they are spending on average per transaction. All of these stats are ether non existent, unreliable, or hard to deduce with the normal PayPal stats.
PayPal fixes this by allowing you to quickly get detailed reporting data. While this might not be the most ‘sexy’ type of product with all kinds of hype and get rick quick claims, it is what a good product should be, its a tool. Just think of something simple such as running paid ads. In order to do that effectively your going to need to know the average value per customer. If you dont know this, how can you decide how much to spend on your ads to get a customer in the first place? You would have to guess, and guessing is not a good way to run a business. You need to make informed decisions for your business, not guesses. This is just one example of how PayDrill can help you and your business be more productive and make more money.
PayDrill was recently selected for “Start Up Chile” where the government of Chile offered Ankur 20 million Pesos (about $33,000) to bring his company to Chile. This is an impressive thing given that only a handful of people where selected out of over 2400 applicants. While this is a testament to the value of this product its one I personally did not need. I have had access to PayDrill for a long time, several months in fact, and I use it in my businesses to make informed decisions about when to do promotions, how much I can spend on ads, and to track the over all health of my business. Because I use it myself, rating this product was easy:

Should the security and safety when it comes to using a 3rd party application with your paypal account, be a consideration?
No and thats actually why this is a desktop app and not a web based one. With it being a desktop app none of your data goes to the vendors at all.
Ok…Installed it last nite and using it….LOVE IT!….THIS THING ROCKS! The hardest part of getting this up and running is going in and getting the Paypal api, and that is not hard at all…(they give you really simple instructions)…It’s way simpler and easier even than using Facebook’s API! (This is one simple step!!)
The software is totally freaking intuitive!….Can not believe how easily it connected to Paypal and set itself up….. You don’t have to configure a thing! (That said, you can, if you want to!) If you have a lot of history you want it to pick up (I sent it back 3 years), it can take a while, but once that’s done, it is really quick from then on.
Just a shot across Brett’s bow……”My customer value is higher than yours…Nah nah Na nah NAH!” (You just have more of them, (customers), Dammit! LOL!)

Thanks for the review Brett, but lot of people said it’s a clone of Pulter except that the Putler has way more api integrations like with shopify, woo commerce, stripe, zapier and many more as well as Paypal. Oh, and they’ve been on the market for quite some time. With Ankurs it’s not so sure! 🙁
Its not a ‘clone’ of anything. Just because it does the same thing, does not make it a clone. Thats like saying McDonalds is a ‘clone’ of Burger King. Also who cares about Shopify, WooCommerce etc if your using PayPal as a payment processor in the end everything will go through it. Stripe integration on Putler is cool, but Stripe has good reporting already so its really not needed. PayDrill is designed specifically for PayPal users, made because PayPal reporting is not good. Pulter is also a monthly fee product, PayDrill is not.

Are there any upsells?
Im sure there are, but they are not required to make PayDrill work, so you really should base your purchase decision on one thing, if you feel PayDrill is a solid investment for your business.
Paydrill is great.
I have only had two issue with it.
I bought all the OTO’s. Only the business upgrade gave me issues. The licence key wasn’t being accepted. I installed/reinstalled. Nothing worked. I wrote to the support desk – nothing. Not even an acknowledgement of my ticket. Wrote back a few days later – still nothing then a few days after that – still nothing. After a few updates to the software, my licence key just miraculously worked. I was thrilled – but absolute crappy post sales support desk help in my eyes despite the outcome. It really has to improve.
The other downside of this product is if it doesn’t like something you enter into fields, it shuts down. You have to launch all over again..and again. The product should remain on and ask you to re-enter. That to me seems like bad coding.
Regardless of what I’ve said above, I believe this is a great product and is definitely worth owning, even if you are just a buyer of JVZoo products. You do not have to be an affiliate or vendor, but if you are, the product is even better.
This product will be super at tax time.

I sent Ankur a message letting him know that a customer was reporting that this support staff was not responding in a timely manner. He said he will look into it, I also suggest that you make sure that the response did not end up in spam etc.
