WP Fresh Start Review

Hey everyone at the request of some readers sending me emails today Im doing a review of WordPress Fresh Start.

Ok so what exactly is this plugin? Well anyone who has ever set up a WordPress site knows that there WordPress ‘out of the box’ needs a lot of changes just to get going. You need to delete all the default pages that come with WordPress and your theme. You need to change the way posts are made so that your URL’s are SEO friendly. You need to set up your contact pages and other standard pages that people are going to expect to see. There actually is quite a bit to do before you really get started using your blog. In fact I have set up tons of Word Press sites for myself and for clients back when I was freelancing and it still takes me around 15 minutes or so to do it all. For someone new its going to take a good bit longer (if you remember to do everything)

WordPress Fresh Start is a plugin that aims do all of this dirty work for you. Just press a button and the plugin does everything automatically and gets your site ready to use.

Now I have said it several times that when  you make a purchase it should be an investment in your business. It should bring you a real value. it should normally either help you make money, it should save you time, or it should make your life more easy. WordPress Fresh Start is one that fits into the last two categories. While it is not something thats going to make you money directly its something that is going to make your life more easy by saving you time, and lets face it time is money.

Besides being a good plugin for new sites its also a great plugin for anyone who already has a blog on a domain name and just wants to start over. There are a lot of blogs out there that are full of spam comments, old posts, etc. This plugin is like a ‘reset button’ that will let you clear out all of the junk and clutter and in essence give you a ‘fresh start’ on your site. This is a great feature because normally the only way to start over was to delete the old database, delete the WordPress files and then recreate the database with a new installation of WordPress. With this plugin though its easy. Press a button and your done.

The plugin is very easy to use and works well. While its going to be especially valuable for people who are setting up multiple sites either for themselves or clients its still worth considering for someone who just wants to set up a single blog. Or for someone that has a blog filled with old content or spam comments and just wants to start over.

Given that this software solves a real issue with setting up WordPress sites and gives definite value in that it will save you time and make setting up WordPress sites more easy Im going to say its a solid investment for anyone doing business online.
