MailIt WordPress plugin

The WordPress plugin that I use to send all my review emails

MailIt is the WordPress plugin that I originally wrote for my own business when I became frustrated with the inherent unreliability of many of the traditional email services. Since creating it I have personally used it to send all of my review, and affiliate promotion emails. With MailIt I consistently get high open rates (18-20% on average), strong deliver-ability, and complete control over my list management all while avoiding a high monthly fee.

A quick note about the reviews on this site: I am an affiliate for every product I review. The vendors of these products give me them without charge in order for me to test them. However all my reviews are done as honestly as possible and I make no promises to the vendor prior to writing my review. Should you click a link on this site that takes you to a paid product this link will be an affiliate link and I will be paid a percentage of the sales price should you decide to purchase that product.

    Brett,
Once again a product that is easy to install & setup. Now for the best part, it works as described.

    Thanks
    Paul L.

Brett: Set this up on a new blog last night and I’ve got to say the setup of this was so easy compared to Aweber and some others out there. Your directions were crystal clear and tothe point and the installation went very smoothly. Thanks forproducing such awesome products.

Awesome! Glad you like it 🙂

    Brett,

I thought you had an option in Mail It to have name and email or just the email? However, I did not see that option in the help menu. Is that available or am I thinking of another one of your programs?

    Thanks,
    Jim

It was added in a free update yes.

Hey Brett; Quick one on this plugin; Is there a way for me to send an http post and then trigger the sending of an email?

  7. Brett Rutecky, 01 March, 2017

    Sorry no.

Great product, easy to install & setup. Working as described. Only missing option for several autoresponder messages, for people like me that are building several lists. Are you planning to add that option?

  9. Brett Rutecky, 04 March, 2017

Anything is possible in the future 🙂 FYI though, a autoresponder is by definition ONE email. Its an AUTO RESPONSE .. what your referring to is called ‘sequencing’

I want to send some bulck emails for a client. Can i use this instead of other tools like sendy.
Will this tool reduce the IP reputation. As here no other SMTP service providers are used.

  11. Brett Rutecky, 15 March, 2017

A tool is not going to reduce your rep. How you use it will. If your a spammer you will be flagged as a spammer. If your not you wont. I have sent well over 1,000,000 emails with MailIt and still have a perfect sender score. Why? Because Im not a spammer 🙂

    Thank You Very Much..

  13. Tom, 16 March, 2017

Great product Brett. Can I use this in other products that ask for “html code” for autoresponder. If so, where do I get the code from? Thank you brother.

    Tom

  14. Brett Rutecky, 16 March, 2017

MailIt has the ability to create HTML signup code yes.

I purchased Mait It! and have struggled to set it up correctly. I’m missing something. LOL I’ve tried setting it up with G-Suite and I’ve tried setting it up with my smtp. I don’t see a support address. Help!

  16. Brett Rutecky, 16 March, 2017

You need to look a little harder as the support address is clearly provided in the email with your receipt, in the members area (under Support), in the plugin itself (under Help). Honestly I dont see how anyone can say they actually tried to follow the instructions and did not see the support address.

    Hi Brett,
Are there any requirements that we should be aware of for our web hosting provider? Also, have you ever heard of someone getting emails “bounced” because their providers IP’s may have been abused by other customers? (just curious).
    Thanks,
    Bill

  18. Brett Rutecky, 24 March, 2017

You need to be aware of your hosting companys email guidelines, that is your responsibility. I suggest people have a dedicated IP not a shared IP.

Bret I’ve installed the plug in it was very easy. I click on the send test email. I get the message it was sent everything is ok, but the email never arrives. Any idea’s?

  20. Brett Rutecky, 23 April, 2017

Honestly, my first thought is that you did not follow the instructions to set up the plugin correctly. I think this because the plugin, the members area, and the receipt email you got all have my support desk email built into it with the message that says “if you need help contact our support”, but instead of sending in a support request, which would have made sense, your here posting a comment on my blog. Frankly this makes me think that you have a very hard time following instructions, which leads me to believe that you did not set up the plugin as per the instructions.
