When I came across this product the first thought that popped in my mind was “Wow! Another Teespring product! That’s just what we all need!  .. not!”.  Everyone is jumping on the Teespring bandwagon.

Ok let me take a step back and first explain what the whole Teespring / Facebook concept is. Teespring is a service that lets you design and sell t-shirts. The idea is to create clever or witty shirts that appeal to a specific audience and then use Facebook to market these shirts to that specific audience. The business logic is that because of the ability to highly target Facebook ads for a low cost per click you can drive cheep targeted traffic to your shirts sales page which should result in lots of sales.

Ok sounds great right? Well I’m sure it was for the fist people who did it. You see this kind of thing is a fad / gimmick its not a solid business plan. Why? Because it has such a low point of entry: Teespring is free to start and Facebook ads are low cost. Because of its low entry cost once the first few people started making good money, suddenly everyone wants to jump in and start doing it. This saturates the market and basically kills the concept.

Guess what? Teespring on Facebook has just about reached that point. Basically all the real money to be made has been made. People will continue to do it however and sure people will make some money but not like before. Now to make money doing this you will have to work lots more and you will earn lots less. This is actually the reason for all the Teespring products for sale. People who got in early made their cash from this fad, realize its ending, and now they are milking it for all its worth by releasing training and products to people who hope to replicate their results. But they wont.

The Social Tee Takeover does indeed strike me as a well written software. I have no doubt that Brennan Noble spent quite a bit of time developing it. However there are a few things that really turn me off about this product.

1) Like I said: Its a little late in the game.

2) The price point is high: If you insist on trying Teespring there are much cheaper products to get you started.

3) It comes with a 72 hour guarantee: Three whole days to buy it, access, learn how to use, and then run a campaign to test. Come on really? 3 days for all of that? The guarantee is a joke. Heck WalMart gives me 15-30 to return a purchase. The only reason I can think of for this short guarantee is because the seller knows your not going to make a profit so he has to make the guarantee period shorter than the length of a campaign.

Teespring on Facebook is a bit of a buzz word right now that this seller and this product are hoping to cash in on. Unfortunately a lot of people are going to fall for it but I’m going to make a prediction and say that 80% of the people who buy this are not even going to make the purchase price back. Really if you want to waste $97 spend it on beer (or better yet send it to me and Ill spend it on beer). If you insist on falling for the hype just remember I warned you.A quick note about the reviews I do on this site. The product vendors give me access to their products for free in order for me to do my review. However I make no promises to them regarding the results of my tests or what I will write in my review. Should you click a link that takes you to a sales page for a paid product for sale this link will be an affiliate link and I will be paid a percentage of the sales price should you decide to invest in it.

    Hey Brett,

Another honest review, and I appreciate it.

I happen to agree with you that the “tee spring” facebook run is past its peak unless you really know what you’re doing and have a solid system in place.

The guarantee is clearly a money grab as well. If your product is solid, and your building a relationship with your customers then a 3 day guarantee would surely be bad for business.

Hey thanks again for the transparent review.
