Today I’m taking a look at Offline Presence an new graphics software being released by Martin Crumlish. I have to be honest on this one I was a little nervous to do this review. You see I know Martin, I have worked with him in the past in marketing and even back when I was freelancing. I really would like to keep working with him. However it seems that almost every time I review a business acquaintances product and have to give it a bad review I end loosing that business contact.  However Martin wanted my opinion so I agreed to take a look. I did make sure he understood that our work history would have no bearing on my review. I would say it how it is good or bad. He agreed.

Fortunately for me (and for you). Offline Presence is a very well written software and is built around a solid concept. Offline Presence is designed to let anyone, even the artistically challenged like myself, create professional quality graphics for offline business’s. These include things like loyalty cards, coupons, flyers, tickets, etc. You can use these yourself or you can make money by selling design services to local customers.

For me personally I would be interested in the coupon designs. As some of you know, besides being a successful online entrepreneur I also own (or have owned and sold) several brick and mortar business’s. I have used coupons, in both print ads, and in take out bags, to bring in sales and it works very well. Also if you wanted to expand past offline you could use the coupon graphics you create for your Facebook ads. So I was really glad to see that this can be used to make high quality coupons.

I was pleased to find that this software not only allows you to create several types of graphics, but it also comes with many templates in each category. Templates are important. The best graphics software in the world is not going to do you any good unless you are artistically inclined. However with high quality templates you can look like a pro.

The software’s interface is fully drag and drop and very easy to use. I had no problems editing my template and was able to quickly product a graphic that was much higher quality than anything I could have done on my own. I honestly had no complaints about the interface or how the software works.

Besides being easy to use , drag and drop, it also had all of the features I would expect to see. The ability to edit and delete each element quickly as well as the ability to clone elements of the graphic are all included. Also included is a ton of free background graphics and hundreds of free clip art’s for you to use in your designs.

For anyone who is artistically challenged (like myself) this is going to be a fantastic tool to add to your bag of tricks and is a great value. This will be especially valuable for anyone who owns an offline business or who works (or wants to work) with offline clients.  I was worried that doing this review might cost me another business relationship but fortunately this time its a high quality product that really does exactly what its suppose to do. I honestly have no complaints about it. Its well designed, easy to use and a great value.

A quick note about the reviews I do on this site. The product vendors give me access to their products for free in order for me to do my review. However I make no promises to them regarding the results of my tests or what I will write in my review. Should you click a link that takes you to a sales page for a paid product for sale this link will be an affiliate link and I will be paid a percentage of the sales price should you decide to invest in it.

Wow, when you put it like that, I now understand exactly what you’re going through with your colleagues, and appreciate even more the choice that you’re making by siding with US, but the irony is, if you keep up this good work, people may no longer want you reviewing their products, which would kill this golden goose for us pretty quickly! 🙁

It’s an interesting dilemma, I’ll have to think on it….
